About Us

     Shalom Christian Ministries is a registered Public Religious Trust [Reg. No. 95 of 2008] based at Calicut, Kerala.
 
Dr. Manoj Kumar Khatore, a Full-time Servant of the Lord is the Author and the Managing Trustee of the Trust and Sis. Soudamini [Suja] is the first Trustee.
 
Our Mission works in the United States of America are headed by Bro. Iype Joseph [Sai Brother] and those in India are led by Dr. Manoj and Sis. Suja.
 
Our Mission is to "Serve our Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth; and hence prepare His Bride, the Church for His Return".
 
Objectives:
 
1. To proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth as per the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit.
 
2. To conduct Evangelistic Retreats, Conventions, Prayer Meetings and Seminars to seek and save the lost.
 
3. To establish Churches, Worship Centers, Prayer Towers and Retreat Centers.
 
3. To disciple new believers and equip them for works of service according to the call of God on their life.
 
4. To establish Training centers, Bible schools and Libraries to impart Spiritual education.
 
5. To Publish and Distribute Spiritual Literature in form of Tracts, Booklets and Books to spread the knowlege of the Kingdom of God.
 
6. To establish Counselling centers, Rehabilitation centers and other institutions for the relief and welfare of drug addicts and alcoholics.
 
7. To establish Old-age homes, Orphanages or other institutions for the relief of the poor, the needy, orphans, widows and aged people.
 
Our Origin:
 
We began as a small group of prayerful young believers who did not enjoy the freedom to Worship Christ Jesus in Spirit and in Truth in our own homes. The Good Shepherd took hold of us and helped us find a house on rent to worship Him freely. Then He joined us with some humble yet mightily used servants of His Kingdom. Slowly the prayer group started growing and within a span of two years we became a group of powerful prayer warriors. One more year and we developed in to a Church that Worships Him in Spirit and in Truth.
 
Eversince the Ministry has been growing and each believer is developing an intimate relationship with the Shepherd as per the words of the Lord "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them and they follow me". [John 10:27] We concentrate on the spiritual growth and maturity of an individual believer for we believe that when each member shall grow to His fullness; His fullness shall fill the whole Church.
 
Our Works:
 
Lord Jesus said, "The words I say to you are not just my own . Rather it is the Father, living in me, who is doing His work." [John 14:10] Apostle Paul wrote in the Letter to the Church at Philippi, "It is God who works in you to will and to act according to His purpose." [Philippians 2: 13] We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God, through us to accomplish His purpose for His glory.
